Jessica Taylor
Director of Merchandise
Taylor joined the Checkers in February 2011 as group services manager before assuming the role of director of merchandise in August 2012. In her current position, Taylor’s primary responsibility are to service and grow the merchandising department, overseeing online orders and developing strategies that help achieve the overall goals and objectives of the merchandise department. She is also responsible for the execution of the game day merchandise responsibilities including set up, oversight of game day employees, break down and inventory control.
Taylor originally joined the Checkers in 2006 as an intern and worked on game days as merchandise manager. Taylor attended UNC Charlotte and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in business management. Taylor was born in St. Louis, but has also spent time in Pittsburgh and Toronto. She currently resides in Indian Trail, North Carolina, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her dog, Darcy. She is also a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
