Signed a professional tryout contract on March 6, 2013 ... One of six players to play for the Checkers in both the ECHL and AHL.
2011-12
Split his third full professional season between San Antonio and Rio Grande of the Central Hockey League while on an AHL contract with the Rampage ... Scored nine points in 42 (5g, 4a) total games at the AHL level for San Antonio during four separate recalls ... Finished the season with San Antonio after being recalled for the final time on 12/26 ... Seven of his nine AHL points came in his first 22 games ... Recorded an assist against the Checkers in a 4-1 win at San Antonio on 12/11 ... Began the season with Rio Grande, where he was team captain, and scored a total of 12 points (8g, 4a) in 11 games at that level.
2010-11
Spent time with four different teams over the course of his second full professional season ... Scored a total of nine points (5g, 4a) in 43 total AHL games while on professional tryout contracts with Rochester, Worcester and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton ... After signing two separate professional tryout contracts with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, inked an AHL contract with the Penguins on 3/7 ... Played the season's final 22 games with Wilkes-Barre Scranton, scoring five points (2g, 3a) in 22 games ... Also appeared in 11 games in the Penguins' playoff run, recording no points and eight penalty minutes ... Originally began the season on an ECHL contract with Wheeling, where he scored 22 points (10g, 12a) and added 27 penalty minutes in 28 games played.
2009-10
Split his first full professional season with Lake Erie and Charlotte of the ECHL ... Scored three points (2g, 1a) in 12 games while on an AHL contract with Lake Erie ... Spent most of the season with the Checkers in the ECHL, where he notched professional career highs with 34 points (23g, 11a) and 53 penalty minutes in 55 games ... Also had nine points (4g, 5a) and nine penatly minutes in 11 playoff games with Charlotte, tying for the team lead in goals.
2008-09
Played nine games with Lake Erie on an amateur tryout contract at the conclusion of his collegiate season, scoring five points (2g, 3a) ... Made his professional debut with Lake Erie vs. SA (3/21) ... Recorded his first professional point, an assist, in his second career game vs. SA (3/26) ... Scored his first professional goal and had his first multi-point game (1g, 1a) in his third game at RCH (3/27).
College
Played four seasons at Quinnipiac University in the ECAC, scoring 127 points (73g, 54a) in 155 games played ... Came in at No. 4 on Quinnipiac's list of Top 20 All-Decade Players from 2000-2010 ... Was the unversity's all-time leader with 73 goals ... Second on the all-time list with 226 penalty minutes ... Led the team with 22 goals and ranked second on the team in assists (26), points (46) and penalty minutes (81) during his senior season in 2008-09. All of those totals tied or set his career highs ... Was a semi-finalist for the Walter Brown Award, given to the best American-born college hockey player in New England, in 2008-09 ... Set a new team record for longest point streak (18 games) in 2008-09 ... Led the team in goals (22) during his freshman season in 2005-06.
Junior
Spent three seasons with the Chicago Steel of the USHL between 2002-2005, scoring 67 points (40g, 27a) and recording 200 penalty minutes in 129 games played.
