Birthday and Special Announcements

For a donation of $25 to the Checkers charitable foundation, Checkmate Charities, fans can put a greeting on the center hung scoreboard during the game. These birthday wishes, happy anniversaries and other announcements are run once a game during a break in the action. 

If you would like for your special announcement to run on the scoreboard, contact the Community Relations department at 704-444-1876 at least 48 hours prior to the game. 

In-Game Promotions and Contests

National Anthem

The Charlotte Checkers are always looking for great local talent to sing the National Anthem.  If you, or your group, would like to be considered to sing the National Anthem, please send a letter introducing yourself, or group, along with a CD, DVD or VHS of your performance of the National Anthem to:
