 Here’s your chance to be a part of one of the most exciting events in hockey. Pick the Checkers’ new goal song and you could win a game experience package and be a part of Checkers history!
We are looking for an energetic and exciting song that fans can cheer along to immediately following a Checkers goal. Picture the puck going in, the goal horn sounding and then choose the song that you think fits best.
From now through Friday at 5 p.m. we will accept submissions of songs through Facebook, Twitter and email.
Facebook: Write the song name and artist on a post on our Facebook fan page wall
Twitter: Tweet your song with the hashtag #CheckersGoalSong

We will evaluate each and every submission and will choose the best ones to be voted on next week. The final song will be chosen based on a combination of fan votes on our Facebook page and votes by Checkers players.
**If your song is chosen, you will win the package, which includes two tickets to a game, a jersey, a team-signed stick and the opportunity to watch warm-ups from the bench! If a song is submitted multiple times and wins, the winner will be chosen by random draw. One submission per person will be accepted. In the event of a person submitting more than one, we will choose the most recent submission. |
