Checkers players Nicolas Blanchard, Chris Durno, Michal Jordan, Jon Matsumoto, Mike Murphy and Mathieu Roy visited Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital on Monday afternoon to deliver teddy bears to the children.
More than 3,000 stuffed animals were collected at the Checkers’ annual Teddy Bear Toss on Dec. 4 – approximately one for every child admitted to the hospital each year.
