PLAYER TICKET DONATIONS

Charlotte Checkers captain Brett Sutter, goaltender Mike Murphy and defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti have teamed together to purchase and donate season tickets for local charities for the 2011-12 season.

Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital (Murphy), Special Olympics North Carolina (Sutter) and Camp Care (Sanguinetti) are the beneficiaries and will each receive four season tickets for patients, athletes, families and volunteers.

The recipients of the tickets, Murph’s Munchkins, Brett’s Buddies and Bobby’s Battlers, will be recognized in-game on the video board and any unreserved tickets will be auctioned with the proceeds going back to the respective charity.
