CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotte Checkers general manager and head coach Jeff Daniels announced today the team has assigned defenseman Ryan Donald to its ECHL affiliate, the Florida Everblades.
Donald, 25, signed a two-way American Hockey League contract on Aug. 8, appeared in two preseason games and has yet to make his regular-season Checkers debut.
The Checkers host the Norfolk Admirals this afternoon before playing the next nine games on the road and will return to Charlotte Nov. 18. Season tickets and mini-plans are on sale and start as low as $110. Visit www.gocheckers.com for more information.
