Beginning Friday, specialty pucks for Love For Lokomotiv will be on sale at the Charlotte Checkers Charitable Foundation table on the main concourse or at the Checkers' team store at the EpiCentre (4th floor).

On Sept 7, 2011, 44 lives were lost in the worst tragedy in professional hockey history when a plane carrying crew members, hockey personnel, coaches and players of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team went down. In a united effort to show support for the grieving families, hockey wives and girlfriends from around the world created Love For Lokomotiv in hopes to raise money for their dear friends.

The pucks, which have a picture of the entire Lokomotiv team on the front, will be sold for $10 with 100% of the proceeds going back to Love For Lokomotiv.
