The Checkers and Extreme Ice Center will host a skills and drills session for youth players on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 2-3 p.m.
The cost will be $30 and participants will learn essential hockey skills from the pros, including Checkers players and former NHL player Jason Dawe.
Proceeds from the clinic will benefit Beginnings of North Carolina, a non-profit resource for families with deaf or hard-of-hearing children.
