The Checkers today announced they will once again kick off their season with “15 Days of Giving,” a daily community service program, presented by Lowe’s, within the Charlotte area from Oct. 20 to Nov. 3.

Throughout the 15-day program, Checkers players and staff members will contribute to 16 local non-profit organizations by volunteering time and resources and making monetary donations, among other community service acts.
The Checkers will host daily updates at www.gocheckers.com, including write-ups, photos and video features, and the program will culminate with a presentation and video at the home opener on Sunday, Nov. 4. Those interested in volunteering or helping in any way should email socialnet@gocheckers.com
